VENUES AND TIMETABLE

The river sessions will be on the Murrumbidgee at Yaouk and each session will be 4 hours split into two smaller 2 hour sessions. Each angler will fish 2 hours and then control 2 hours. If you control the first half of the morning session you will also control the first half of the afternoon session.

On 30/9/08 the timetable for the comp was changed to Saturday for the lake and Sunday for the River for the following reasons:

  1. The lake will be fresher on Saturday. We have found out that t/here is expected to be a lot of non FFA people fishing the dam over the weekend and by Sunday the fish will have been attacked by many trollers.
  2. Not all weekend visitors will have arrived when we will be putting boats in if we put boats in first thing Saturday. If we leave the dam till Sunday access is likely to be more congested.
  3. The weather patterns favour the dam on Saturday.

We have also revert to the original draw for the river session which will required that fish on the river session be measured by the adjacent competitor.

Please also note that we have organised  a meeting of the Nationals Organizing Committee to follow the AGM.

This revised draw is set out below:

Friday 3rd October 2008 Registration & draw Adaminaby Country Inn 6pm 8pm
Saturday 4th October 2008 - session one Tantangara Dam 8am 11am
  - FFA NSW AGM & Nationals Organizing Committee Meeting  Tantangara Dam
